Engagement Pictures

I have allot of brides ask me if they should get engagement pictures. Well that is a hard question for me to answer because honestly it is personal preference. I know allot of customers will just use a picture taken on vacation or a selfie which is fine but there is one advantage of having your photographer do your pictures. That is you get to work with him or her before your wedding day so now you aren't strangers. This I feel can make both parties more comfortable on the wedding day. Both you and your photography now know what poses look the best, how willing the couple is to do those fun pictures, and how your photographer is going to work on the wedding day. So if your asking me I would say yes have your photographer take your engagement pictures. The cost is not that much when compared to the big picture of a wedding and the memories will last a life time.
